In Augusta we are fortunate to have a medical district that employs thousands of people from Martinez, Evans, Grovetown and neighboring towns.
The Columbia County school system is considered one of the top school systems in the state of Georgia. Springlakes is currently zoned for Martinez Elementary, Evans Middle and Evans High Schools. There are quite a few of private schools in the area as well, one being Augusta Preparatory Day School located right down Flowing Wells Road near the subdivision entrance.
Grocery shopping is located nearby as well. Kroger is located on Columbia Road within a quarter mile of the entrance to Springlakes. A little further down Washington Road you can enjoy finding things you need for your home in Marshalls, Target or Kohls located in the Mullins Shopping Center in Evans, a neighboring community.
